Matt Mullenweg, founder of WordPress (a popular blogging platform) was employee #4 at his own company- he had people working for him before he left his comfortable corporate job to run his own company. Matt wanted blogging to be as easy as sending an email. With over 3 million blogs on WordPress, I would say Matt has succeeded!
